Nihon Matsuri - April 30th, 2011
Every year there is a Japan Festival (Nihon Matsuri) in Salt Lake City. I try to go every year. They have food, booths and events. I really enjoy the food. Some of the events include Taiko Drums, traditional dancing, and this year they are going to have the Topaz Art Exhibit (this is what I've heard anyway). The artwork from the internment camp is AMAZING.
I always love eating the food and enjoy the events.
Look at how adorable these children are. The third from the left looks like my oldest son when he was three or four. They are currently working on their website, it's nihonmatsuri.org. You can also read the history here.
