Guess what I was able to get at Lowe's on Saturday?

It was one of their Earth Day 2011 One in a Million Free Trees.  :)

They recommended it put in a pot for a least a year.  That way it can grow a better root system.

So I grabbed the planter my parents bought for me last year.  Since the annual flowers have died over the winter.

I have a darling tree sapling potted in my front yard.  It's a cute Colorado Blue Spruce.  HAPPY EARTH DAY 2011!  Were you able to do anything fun on Earth Day?
