2020 Goals List

Hurrah 2020!!!  

We all know that life is too short and goes by too quickly!


What are your Goals and Dreams this year?  What do you enjoy doing that you don't make time for?  The most important first step is to ask yourself, Why am I creating this goal?  Who is involved?  What do you want to accomplish?  Where will it be done?  Which constraints or requirements do I have?


1.     My main goal for this year is:  Organize 2020!
        a.     Computer files - I would be more efficient if I my things were organized.
                i.  I want to be able to quickly and easily find the information I have that I am looking for within 5-10 mins.

        b.     Reorganize Personal Items -
                i.  I want to be able to find my stuff I own within 5 minutes.

        c.     Storage - I want to get rid of things I own that are weighing me down and that I don't use.
                i.  I have a storage since we moved to Hawaii and I want to get rid of things I don't use or need and lower my cost at the same time.
                ii.  I will make time to go through my storage once a month.

2.     Manage my time better.
        a.     Planner - 
                i.  I always have to record how productive I am.  I have always enjoyed writing down in my planner what I accomplished that day.  However, I need create the pathway of what I want to do for the future to turn my goals and dreams into reality.  Therefore, I will consistently plan out what I want to achieve each day.  I will make time to allocate time to work towards my goals and dreams.

3.     Do what I love!
        a.     Fitness -
                i.  I enjoy the way I feel after I run.  Therefore, I want to meet my main MapMyRun fitness goal.  I signed up for the MayMyRun You vs. the Year 2020.  My goal is to get the 400km badge.  I feel that with work and health issues this is a realistic goal.

        b.     Art / Photography - 
                i.  I have art ideas I want to create.  I would like to create one of my many ideas and make it a reality.

        c.     Science - 
                i.  More specifically biology.  I have always been fascinated with Biology.  I want to figure out how to make a time lapse video of seeds growing.

4.     Make time for friends and family.
        a.     Keep in touch with family and friends.
                i.  I will call and/or Skype my family up at least every other week.
                ii.  I will reach out to my friends and tell them Happy Birthday on FB or by Mail.

        b.     Send out correspondence.
                i.  I will update my friend's address and keep them current.
                ii.  I will send out letters and cards to my friends letting them know I am thinking about them.

5.     Make time to relax!


        a.     Play a board game.

6.    Learn something new.
       a.  Study the Hawaiian Language every other week on Duolingo.

7.    Read 20 Books this year.

8.     Travel - 
        This will be difficult based on the current state of the Coronavirus 19.  I am including camping in this goal.


        a.     Travel at least 2 times a year.
