Do you have any adventures planned?
I've been wanting to binge read, very, very, badly. I've been reading a lot from my college books for my classes. However, it's not the same as reading from a book that takes you away, or gives you the information you feel like reading about. Starting this weekend is Banned Books Week - It celebrates the freedom to read and the importance of the First Amendment. What would we do without reading? I couldn't even imagine. I'm glad I can't image it. I love the fact that we can write and put stories, thoughts, ideas, and wisdom down on paper. Then, others can READ about them. Banned Books Week is also about the First Amendment. Just think if this country controlled what we could read? That wouldn't allow us to create, express, individualize our thoughts and ideas. Someone else would decide what we could write about. Banned Books Week goes until October 2nd.
I plan on finishing my landscaping by laying my sod in my yard. I also plan to go to my kids soccer games, work on college and hopefully have time to read my Banned Book. I hope everyone has a great weekend and has something wonderful planned.
