My son has the weirdest issue with his phone.  If it completely dies, it will not charge from the charger you plug into the wall.  He has to use a specific battery pack in order to charge it just enough to then be able to use the regular wall charger.  We tried different chargers, different battery packs and it didn't work.

You never know what you'll run into.  There are so many quirks with technology.
