~ I'm Thankful For ~

SIGHT

I'm thankful to have the ability to see.  I know I take sight for granted.  When I was younger I actually looked into the sun.  I know a lot of children in my generation did this, but I know I have spots in my eyes that I think are from that decision.  I appreciate sight, a lot of my memories are very visual.  So, if my sight went away, I know that it would be a lot more difficult to remember.  I love being able to see.  I love being able to see myself draw a line or paint a picture.  I admire everyone who goes through this world without this sense.
