Local Pumpkin Patch
Joseph Jackson, 3, inserts money into a donation bin at a pumpkin patch in Eagle Mountain on Friday, Oct. 7, 2011. An Eagle Mountain family is offering to let the public pick from 2,000 pumpkins they grew, and suggesting they leave a donation for the LDS Church perpetual education fund. JAMES ROH/Daily Herald
This year our family went to the local pumpkin patch to get pumpkins for Halloween. We should have went a little earlier, they may have had more of a selection. My kids seemed a bit confused, but we checked out the pumpkins and got three of them. It was fun to do something different this year instead of just going to the store.
