It was a tradition for me as a child (an Elementary/younger Jr. High school student) to go trick-or-treating; then come home and watch a scary movie.  One of my favorites that played on the T.V. was Night of the Creeps.  I think that this was my first creepy movie.  The idea of alien brain parasites really interested and intrigued me as a child.  There were about three years in a row where they played The Rocky Horror Picture Show.
