Type of Trees

My new obsession is gardening.  Why?  You may ask.  It's because I have to get my yard done on my house...  House, you say.  Why yes!  I bought a house.  :)  That was my surprise - and why I was too busy to post in April/May.  (I'll post the building of it next week.)  Therefore, I need to get my yard in.  So, I've been looking at trees. flowers, landscaping books, Japanese landscaping ideas, many different kinds of things regarding landscaping.  There are many purple robe locust trees in my area and I think they're gorgeous.  I wanted to take a picture of my own.  However, a couple weeks ago they finished blooming and the weather was very erratic.  The days the weather would be good I didn't have my camera on me, and the days that were bad were really rainy.
